However, in order to access certain reserved areas and contents, we may ask you to provide certain personal data as part of your membership to the ISSRNC. This privacy policy covers your use of the ISSRNC website (www.issrnc.org, www.issrnc.com) as well as the ISSRNC Facebook and Twitter accounts.

What data do we collect?

Personal information such as, where appropriate, name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, payment information, etc. We collect this information only in connection with specific activities, such as membership subscriptions, access to the JSRNC, email newsletter subscriptions, etc.

Non-personal information

We use “Google Analytics”, a web analytics service provided by Google, and other website features to help us understand how our website is used. Some of these services use cookies, a small file saved in the web browsing software. The information generated by the cookies (including your IP address) help us evaluating your use of our website and to better understand website traffic, how many people visit on a regular basis, which pages are most popular, etc. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Where will the data be held?

Data submitted through the forms on our website is held on our Bluehost servers in the US and/or on servers pertaining to The Rocket Science Group, LLC, (MailChimp) which is based in the US. The data collected through “Google Analytics” will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the US. Data collected through Paypal for membership payments are stored on servers in the US. Additional mailing information may also be held by Equinox Publishing (“Equinox’), which is based in Sheffield, UK and is the publisher of the JSRNC. Confidentiality

We will not disclose the data you provide us to any third party unless you have specifically given us permission to do so in advance, or unless we are compelled to do so by a court order.

Information for under 18 users
